PQS Safe Carriage is a specialist approval for Passenger Road Transport providers.
This package contains two modules:
- PQS SSIP Health & Safety Approval
- PQS Enhanced Passenger Road Transport Pre-Qualification
The SSIP Health & Safety Module is a tailored question set for passenger road transport providers in relation to the management of vehicles, drivers, and passengers. Successful completion will lead to a recognised certificate for 12 months and your status appearing on the SSIP Portal for licensing teams and other stakeholders to verify.
For specific requirements over and above the SSIP Core criteria, the enhanced module includes specific requirements in relation to:
- The Operator
- The Vehicles
- Private Hire Bookings
- Mini Buses
- Coaches
All mini bus operators are required to demonstrate evidence of MiDAS Standard Training is mandatory. MiDAS is the gold standard training scheme for minibus drivers in the community transport sector and beyond, ensuring that minibus drivers are able to provide safe, legal and comfortable journeys.
You simply register your organisation via our 3 step registration wizard and then purchase the PQS Safe Carriage Package. The assessment is conducted via the portal after you answer various questions and upload any documentary evidence requested.
