The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 require all duty holders to assess the organisational capability of their contractors.
Duty holders are not just limited to client, designers, and principal contractors. Contractors working directly for principal contractors who sub out works are also duty holders and have the same duty to assess organisational capability.
Gaining an SSIP PQS Health & Safety Assessment is one way of demonstrating organisational capability.
